Yes, sad news, I know. But this was a long time coming unfortunately. It's that time of the year... the time for the holidays, and the time for the FINALS. Yuck! Those are gonna drive me nuts, and on top of that I'll have a new job on the way, and a

BRAND NEW HAGNISS THE BARBARIAN ANIMATION RELEASING IN 2025.

So it's safe to say there's a lot on my plate, and for the sake of the quality of the comic, it's gonna have to take a small break. Disappointing to many, I'm sure.

But maybe this can make up for it?

Alright, ya bums, you know what time it is...

It's time for a new Hagniss chapter announcement!

That's right! This month a NEW chapter of Hagniss will be dropping! I... don't have a proper date for it yet. It'll probably be out later this month, likely the same week as American Thanksgiving. Here's a little panel preview!

BWUH???? THERE'S MORE????

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Coming EARLY 2025 a new "animation" for Hagniss will be out and about! (Animation is in quotes as it'll just be a clean-looking animatic, if anything. Ha!) It will be the first of a series of promotional shorts made for the comic, starring the cast doing a lovely array of silly things, FULLY VOICE ACTED! Stay tuned for when it drops and you'll see who's voiced by who ;).

Here are some unfinished screenshots made for the animation. The drawings are finalized, but the backgrounds will be a bit more detailed. As for vibes? I dunno, think of something visually in the style of the Gorillaz Bytez shorts, accompanied by some dry, charming, and kinda awkward humor. It's been a lot of fun to work on and I cannot wait to share it here.

BEHOLD! Hagniss returns this month, in mid to late August. This time she confronts the perilous Captain Plunderbeard in the midst of him tormenting the Big Bug Bar! VIOLENCE ENSUES!!!!!! BLOOD!!!! CUTS!!!!! SCRATCHES!!!! PUNCHING!!!!!!!

Hello one and all!!

Just wanted to write a quick thank you to you guys, it means a lot to me that you're all so very patient for Hagniss stuff, and so willing to put up with my trashy schedule. Now that I finished my big animation, I am now back to work on the comic again! Soon I'll have about half the pages finished, and it should all be out in late July. As a thank you, here's a little panel from the upcoming chapter.

Wow! Enticing! Why's Leonard arguing with these lackluster background bugs? And what could he be so mad about?? It will all be revealed in July!

Oh, and as a reminder, I am no longer doing the "6 pages every two weeks" schedule. It is now 15+ pages a month, just to make things more convenient for readers who can't always keep up, and to put less of a strain on my hand. (Seriously, it was really starting to hurt. Don't be too surprised if my hatching shading isn't as frequent as it was in previous chapters. Excessive detail tends to look sloppy anyways!)

Anyways yes, I know I said Hagniss would have a new chapter out around this time, but alas, the work on this animation and (unsuccessful) job applications really caught up to me. So be sure to look for more in JULY!! I SWEAR!!!!!!!! It'll be a VERY interesting chapter this time around, a whole 15-ish pages, with a large lore dump and a buttload of new faces taking the stage. I'm sure you'll love it! Maybe!

Hello!

I hope you all caught up on chapter 2 as it finished :) Just wanting to put this here, but as of now, I will proceed to take a hiatus from working on the comic from now on, probably for over a month. In the meantime, I'll be working on the site, reorganizing the pages and updating character info and visuals.

This is part of a big plan I have for this summer...

I want to change the site's pages, with every site page now having (at least) 20 or so "images"(comic pages) per page. This will help fit to the new monthly schedule I'll be doing to match the comic's new output, 15-20 pages a month.

This means that the last two chapters will be split into two parts on the site so that there's some consistency (ie chapter one part 1 would be pages 1-23 or something, while chapter one part 2 would be the rest). But idk when I'm gonna start yet. I just finished my first year of college and I need to snooze up a bit. SO FOR NOW... I'll let you know later.
