Schedule Ideas?

Posted by HagnissTheBarbarian - April 6th, 2024

Hello everyone! With the second chapter of the comic coming closer and closer to reaching an endpoint, I was considering something about my workflow.

How would you, as fans, feel about a change in schedule come the start of the next chapter? Instead of the typical 6 pages every 2 weeks, I'd have an output of 12-15 (maybe more!) pages out a month instead?

I would appreciate any input or suggestions you guys might have (only if ur interested ofc ;D) Keep in mind, however, depending on my situation in the future, the comic's schedule could completely be altered like anyone making a passion project. So don't be too surprised if this completely changes again (sorry!!)

Anyway love you guys to death, and again would appreciate any and all help discussin it :) Have a good one!

(oh and if you'd like, i have a twitter poll you're free to participate in as well. not that that matters since twitter completely sucks now lol

The schedule is not that important to me, but I think that for general success and fanbase in social media more frequent posts are better, so I guess monthly, but longer have a risk of damaging your fanbase

If you think that time frame between posting your newly finished work is more helpful to you, then, as long as the output is consistent and reliable, it doesn't make a huge difference, so long as there aren't any frequent interruptions to the schedule.

People make a habit of reading comics at the usual time you make them, and subconsciously create an expectation that they will always get a new issue then and there. As long as you don't rock that expectation too much, it's no biggie.

Maybe finish this arc off like usual and then start that new output idea of yours next chapter, with an announcement with how you will publish these out come next time, yeh?

The plan is to implement any of the changes to my schedule after finishing the current chapter, so we're in the same boat!
